Diabetes: Not A Life Sentence

17 Nov

“I read your blog yesterday and decided to e-mail you to let you know how great I am doing.  I started your program three months ago.  Basically I had my wife cook your meals in the Cooking Coach and I sent your blogs home to my wife so we could both follow your advice.  Within the first two months my physician reduced my diabetes medication and she said if I continue like this I will be off my medication soon.  I wanted to thank you, my wife and I have never felt better.  I am in my 60′s and had not been to the gym in years.  The only exercise video that I do is your stretch video but I do walk three times a week as you always suggest.  I have lost 22 pounds and have never felt better.  Thank  you for a great program!”

We receive these types of testimonials often but I must share with you it is humbling every time.  I specifically decided to post this one that just came in yesterday.  So that if you have diabetes Type II you need not feel as if it is hopeless.  Our goal is to see you off medication whenever possible.  Additionally I would like to share with you a comment from Dr. Smith, one of our experts.  “Many patients on the road to developing Diabetes will show high Insulin levels (insulin resistence) and should incorporate organic sesame oil on a daily basis as part of their regular dietary regimen.”

The above in quotes are two comments/e-mails that came in just yesterday.  Today I wanted to share both with you.  I would like to let everyone know that when you have a moment, check the comments in my blog.  Dr. Smith is one of our experts and thank goodness always keeps a watchful eye on what I write.  The above e-mail from an individual who will of course remain anonymous (I did however confirm with him that I could post his e-mail) should speak to everyone who has Diabetes Type II.  It is not irreversible folks!  In fact, I could not share the whole e-mail because this individual went on to talk about other people in his company who are also doing well.  But it was certainly evident that he was indeed shocked that he was able to feel so much better, so quickly.  Diabetes Type II is not a life sentence.  With some nutritional changes and saying “arriva derci” to a sedentary life it can easily be reversed.

In conclusion, I would simply like to say please keep your e-mails coming.  They sincerely humble us and certainly make us work harder.
