Demi Moore is broken. Lest we decide to judge her, let us all keep in mind that we could easily be just like Demi Moore. In fact, it could be us or someone we know. There are many opinions out there on how one gets to this point but since this is my blog you will of course read my own personal opinion.
I love the construction industry and since I was a part of it for so many years, I like to make analogies pertaining to construction. In order to build a big, glorious building; of course as part of the process, we are inspected almost every step of the way. You may look at a beautiful building that has been built and notice the architecture, the incredible design, the beautiful brick, stucco or wood that was used. You might notice the interesting windows and doors. You might comment on the creativity of the architect. I wonder, does it occur to you that the most important aspect of any glorious building is the foundation?
The foundation my friends is what keeps the building standing strong. If the foundation is not strong that glorious building will of course, eventually crumble. To that point the same theory can be applied to our lives. If your foundation is not what it needs to be you may withstand many storms but you will eventually crumble and break. The success of your life is predicated on your soul. In fact the success of every area of your life is closely tied and must be in line with your thinking. In order for your life to prosper your soul must be prospering.
What is the point of all this you ask? You must love God with all of your heart and soul, all your mind and all of your strength. If you understand what it is that your soul needs, you will understand what it will take to withstand the storms of life. In fact, let me make a suggestion. It is a fact that the majority of us spend between two and four hours watching television each day. Allow me to propose the following, take just 20 or 30 minutes from the television and focus on a relationship with God. I promise this will only bring good things into your life. In fact I would venture to say it would definitely bring calm and peacefulness into your life. Your soul holds the key to your life. If you want to change your life you must change your way of thinking.
I leave you with two of my favorite quotes by Abraham Lincoln.

Sometimes the title says it all anyway. I enjoyed reading your post though : )
